About us: Orixiva free browser tools, 200+ calculators and digital templates by Sardar Zain
About us: what Orixiva makes and who it is for.

About us: Orixiva in short

Orixiva is an independent website that makes free, browser-based tools and low-cost digital templates. It is built and run by founder Sardar Zain. The idea is simple: many everyday jobs, from cutting out a photo to sending an invoice or checking a statistics answer, should take minutes, not hours, and should not need an account, an app or a subscription.

This About us page explains what Orixiva makes, how the free tools work, how the site is funded, the principles we follow, and how to reach us. If you only want to start using a tool, the free tools page lists everything in one place.

What you can do on Orixiva today

Orixiva has grown from a small set of templates into a broad toolbox. Here is what is available right now.

Free tools for images, video and files

Free tools for work and study

Free calculators and free tools made by Orixiva
Free calculators for money, study, health and work.

200+ free calculators

The free calculators cover money, business, statistics, science, health, cooking, construction, cars, dates and more. Each category page explains the formulas, so you can see how a result was worked out.

Digital products

The digital products store sells Excel and Google Sheets templates, such as thesis analysis models, bookkeeping sheets, budget planners and real estate ROI models. Prices start from $5, and files download instantly after purchase.

How our free tools work, and why they are free

Most Orixiva tools run entirely inside your web browser. When you open a tool, the page loads the code it needs, and your files and numbers are processed on your own device using standard browser features such as the File API. In most cases your photos, documents and data are never uploaded to an Orixiva server. You can read the full explanation on our client-side tool processing page.

Running tools in the browser has three benefits for you: it is fast, because nothing has to travel to a server and back; it is private, because your files stay with you; and it is free to keep running, because the heavy work happens on your device.

The site itself is supported in two ways: by sales of our digital templates and by advertising, as described in our AdSense and cookies policy. That is what lets us keep the tools free without a paywall or a sign-up.

Our principles

  1. No sign-up for free tools. You should be able to open a tool and use it straight away.
  2. Privacy by design. Where a task can be done on your device, we do it on your device.
  3. Show the working. Calculators and guides explain formulas and give worked examples you can check by hand.
  4. Plain language. We write guides in simple English so they are easy to follow, including for readers whose first language is not English.
  5. Usable for everyone. We aim to follow the ideas in the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines, with clear labels, keyboard support and readable text.
  6. Honest limits. Our guides explain what a tool cannot do, and calculators are planning aids, not professional advice.

Who uses Orixiva

Orixiva is used by people who want results quickly without learning a complicated program:

  • Students check homework, plan revision, run statistics for projects and format citations.
  • Teachers and tutors build quizzes, worksheets, rubrics and lesson plans.
  • Freelancers and small businesses send invoices, price products, make barcodes and prepare product photos.
  • Creators and marketers make GIFs, edit short videos, check SEO and estimate earnings.
  • Developers format JSON, test APIs, decode tokens and convert data.
  • Households compare loans, plan budgets, scale recipes and work out dates.

How we write our guides

Most tools come with a written guide on the same page, and longer tutorials appear on the Orixiva blog. Each guide aims to answer the question first, then explain the steps, the formula and a worked example. Where an official source exists, such as a government page or a standards body, we link to it so you can check the details yourself. Guides show the date they were last updated, and we revise them when a tool changes or a reader points out a problem.

Policies and transparency

We want you to know exactly how the site works. These pages explain the details:

What makes Orixiva different

There are many tool websites. We try to stand out in a few practical ways:

  • Tools that work together. A photo cut out with the background remover can be resized with the image resizer and added as a logo to an invoice. Calculators link to the related guides and tools, so one task leads naturally to the next.
  • Guides on the same page. Instead of a bare form, each tool page explains when to use it, how to read the result and what to watch out for.
  • Templates for bigger jobs. When a free tool is not enough, a ready-made Excel or Google Sheets template can take over, without the cost of full business software.
  • A real person behind it. You can reach the founder directly, and feedback changes what gets built and fixed.

Three real-world examples

A student finishing a project

A university student plans the last two weeks before a deadline with the study planner, checks a t-test with the statistics calculators, formats references with the citation generator and converts the final report to PDF with the file converter. Everything is free and nothing needs an account.

A small online shop

A shop owner photographs new stock, removes the backgrounds, resizes the images and prints barcode labels. Before setting prices, they check margins with the business calculators, and at the end of the month they send invoices to wholesale buyers with the invoice generator.

A freelance developer

A developer formats a messy API response, converts it to CSV for a client, decodes a token while debugging and creates a favicon set for the client's new site. Because the developer tools run in the browser, client data stays on the developer's machine.

These examples show the idea behind Orixiva better than any slogan: small, reliable tools that fit into real work and save real time.

Our commitment to accuracy

A calculator or converter is only useful if you can trust the answer. That is why our guides show the formula behind each result and include worked examples with real numbers, so you can repeat the sum yourself or with a phone calculator. Where a result depends on a rule set by someone else, such as a tax rate, a health guideline or a shipping carrier's formula, we say so and link to the official source.

Mistakes can still happen. If you find a result that looks wrong, a broken link or a confusing step, please tell us through the contact page and include the values you used. Once a problem is confirmed, the tool and its guide are corrected. Clear reports with example values make this much faster. We would rather fix an error quickly than leave it in place.

If you are a teacher, journalist or researcher and want to cite one of our guides, you are welcome to link to the page; most guides show the date they were last updated near the top.

Finally, please remember that our tools are planning aids. For legal, tax, medical or engineering decisions, use the result as a starting point and confirm it with a qualified professional.

Our story so far

Orixiva began with digital templates. Our first big release, an Excel research bundle for survey data, statistics and thesis work, was announced on the Orixiva blog in December 2021. Students and researchers liked having a ready-made file that did the maths for them, and more templates followed for bookkeeping, budgeting, financial analysis and property investment.

In 2026 we started adding free tools that run in the browser. The first were image tools such as the AI background remover and the image resizer. They were followed by the video editor, file converter, SEO and developer tools, the barcode generator, the invoice generator, the checklist maker, the student and teacher toolkit, and a large set of calculators. Each new tool comes with a guide, and many come with a longer tutorial on the blog.

The aim has stayed the same from the start: take a task that usually needs expensive software or expert knowledge, and turn it into something anyone can do in a few minutes.

How to get the most from Orixiva

  • Start with the free tools. Most everyday jobs can be done with a free tool, so try that first.
  • Bookmark the pages you use. Tools open instantly from a bookmark or your phone's home screen.
  • Read the guide under each tool. It explains the inputs, the formula and common mistakes.
  • Save your work. Tools that store data keep it in your own browser, so download a backup or PDF when you finish.
  • Upgrade only when you need to. If you repeat the same complex task every week, a template from the store can save even more time.
  • Tell us what is missing. Feedback through the contact page shapes what we build next.
